Hi! I’m Tan Xin Yi
I study Biomedical Engineering as a AY24/25 (Year 1) year student.
More about me!
Hello, I am Xin Yi, an undergraduate student majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I am particularly interested in the manufacturing and innovation of biomedical devices. This encourages me to specialize in biomedical materials. It fascinates me how engineers can invent new machines to reduce patients' discomfort, or provide alternatives to invasive surgical methods. After graduation, I aspire to contribute to society through my work in engineering. As such, I am grateful for the many opportunities provided by the E-Scholar community and look forward to the next few years of my academic journey. Aside from my academics, I also find solace in reading. I love the feeling of being transported into starkly different situations and experiencing them from a new perspective. Often, you can find me hunched over and immersed in a book. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, whether it's cycling at East Coast Park or huddling together over a game of Mahjong.
